I’m not a Rondo fan, you’re barking up the wrong tree.
You know tegator80, I keep meaning to tell you how much I hate it when post things like this!
Equal parts funny + accurate + gut-wrenching
And you do execute it more deftly than anyone else!
That group along with ibaka got smoked by Miami in 5 games back in 2012. Dwade dominated Harden and LeBron was lebron. Don't think BD would have changed those results.
Harden and Russ are better players now...and KD might be the best player in the league.
OKC's frugal front office would've broken them up before that core got a chance to reach their primes. Their only shot at winning a ring was in 2012, ironically I think if they had won a title that year the organization would've had no choice but to pay luxury tax to keep them together.
Oh I agree. Just saying how cool that team would be, and what it would look like for Billy's legacy.
Billy would not be there, if they had kept those 3, as would have always been playing for conference championships and NBA titles. However, takes special players to stay in Oklahoma versus visibility of major markets. Takes players not seeking moving to a big 3 scenario as well
Looks like the Melo era is over in OKC. Will be great for them. Not great if they have to eat the contract. Why can't they threaten to not play him or not start him? Either way, they will be in better position financially. Should be able to add or trade for another star.
Report: Thunder will part ways with Carmelo Anthony, saving franchise from historically high payroll and luxury tax bill
They save over $50 million in taxes for exceeding cap by buying out and spreading out cap hit over 3 year period, if not able to trade for team looking for expiring cap player. No brained for Thunder
HUGE news for OKC. Good riddance.
Lakers, Rockets and Heat have shown interest. I can’t see him going back to play for D’Antoni.
Oh my gosh! Please, please, please, please, please, please........
