Reported that 5 Alabama Players have been diagnosed with Covid 19 -
Who wants to lay odds on whether St. Nick purposefully exposed his squad in order that they would all get through with it prior to the start of the season?
If that works. We need Bama to be good this year and beat uga.
The Dwags are finally playing in Tuscaloosa and we may get a scenario where there is no fans or limited fans. Another scheduling break for them.
By the way, the SEC should be ashamed for letting uga go 13 years without playing at Bama. That's ridiculous.
Typical SEC. Protect the goober chosen ones.
We're just going to overlook the fact that you guys have been to Auburn 3 times this century and don't go back anytime in the near future?
It will likely be that long between UF visits to Bama. Last time we were there was 2014, they come to UF in 2021, then likely another 7 or so years before we return there. So, that would be 14 years.
Well we have LSU every year and they have been a lot better than Auburn recently.
you can get it a second time. A friend of my kids now has a second bout of it. He lives in Fort Lauderdale
And you've been to Bama twice during that span. Even with Dwag math, you're aware 3>2, right? And I hope you're not comparing Bama to Auburn. That would be silly.
Thats fine. We go to Alabama this year and even that out. The point is that everyone in the conference has these gaps in the schedules and it’s both a shame and completely out of our control. We just played A&M last season for the first time since they joined the conference. It’s still a few years away I believe before we get to make a trip out there to Kyle Field.
I was watching the news yesterday and a physician said the virus appears to be mutating and Hospitals are stating its symptoms are becoming less severe. The doctor said a virus wants to survive and is also learning it does not want to kill its host, so the virus is adapting to its environment like all viruses have done in the past and causing the symptoms to be less severe. Was an interesting perspective. Time will tell if accurate, but reported in Italy as well.
LSU > Auburn as cross division rival. LSU 7-3 in last 10 versus Auburn. 31-22-1 overall.
That wasn't our call (even though they tended to be a thorn in our side). And Auburn is no Alabama. Instead we got LSU. Maybe a fair trade over time, but not over the last decade or so.
And better built-in recruiting base.
We're only supposed to go to Auburn three times in the first two decades of a century just like everyone else in the east who isn't perennially east-west scheduled with them. (And, just as Georgia does with LSU.)
Bama should have a team meeting in a custodial closet.
Well, the good old boys in the SEC office decided that the Aggies with Manziel could open their SEC experience by hosting the Gators game 1. Nice gift for the newbies. Thankfully, the Gators won, but I cant imagine Bama, Ga, etc getting put at a similar disadvantage to a conference newbie.
I went. nice people. Would love to go back
Viruses mutate all the time. They replicate at amazing rates. That being said, they do not mutate to become weaker in order to keep their hosts alive. It's survival of the fittest and the goal is to spread.
The stronger mutations that kill their hosts do not get passed along. So the deadlier the strand, the "weaker" it's survival/pass on rate may be. So this virus is not weakening, but mutations that are stronger are not being passed along which is where social distancing comes into play.
There is ZERO place for a UGA fan or any other fan for that matter to question UF's schedule. Y'all play Georgia Tech.
