Ouch, Not a good day in Gator Land.
Step right up...Bowman. Step right up...
Do we even have room for him? I think we're around 85 counters after signing day. What's the status with Stewart Reese, is he still transferring?
We would have figured it out.
Been a stellar day fellows! Coming off last nites loss . Tough weekend
That loss was fugly
Bigger loss than Beck, IMHO.
Obviously opportunity wasn’t a prerequisite. Or proximity to home. Disappointing.
you are not g0ing to land everyone
Braun obviously felt Texas was a better place for him to either bet ready for the NoFun League or has the grad program he really wants
as far as Beck- some will, some won't, so what, NEXT
in reality he was not a fit for the style O we run
He did play his senior year of high school in Texas and UT has about the same depth on their OL as us.
Really sucks though. I thought he would be the difference between a good season and a great one.
It is interesting a Ga Tech player decided to go with a team that beat his former in-state arch rival.
In his defense, going to strip clubs with Tom Herman is probably a lot of fun.
Beck is a high risk, high reward bet (that he develops, that Mullen adapts to his talent, and that he stays if Mullen slow rolls him). Braun is an immediate upgrade to a guard unit that is lacking both numbers and (especially) experience.
It does hurt, but I have a straight up question for you. Would you rather have Braun who would move around the interior or be a question mark at OT in our offense, or would you rather have a tested OT for a grad transfer?
Just so you know, Candy, your candy was the equivalent of black licorice yesterday.
Everybody wants to be rebellion sometimes
He might not have even started for us as an all ACC run blocker. Not a huge loss... but I do want his brother to commit to us.
Was he a part of the plan? Or just a nice to have?
What's this O-lineman's measurables again? 6'2"? really?
Can’t lose what you never had
Assuming we are in the drivers seat and making them more important than they are will always make you sad in the end
We will end up with ours but I save the emotion till they actually play
