I think we are below average... An average recruting staff has a place they can hang their hat and get what they need... We dont have that anywhere with this staff

I guess what I'm getting at is this staff had done enough to establish a relationship with those kids. We had two at 100% and another committed. We were just looking to add Collier and flip Collins.

It's not like we just started recruiting this group.

Though the concern is real ...If the decision was today we would land 2 of them.

Ohio state has how many NC's since we had ours? 1.... Saban has what, 5 NCs in 12/13 years of top 3 classes? Kirby has won 0. Guess all that talent has won 5/6 titles since our last? (Slow Claps)

No way. He only moves QB to TE. He wouldnt move a defensive plyer to an offensive position

They all do, some coaches ONLY care to star chase. 4 in 3yrs this board would have fired him too.

Clemson won before they had top rated classes. It comes with the territory

In all honesty, wherever these kids decide, it's going to be hell until pen hits ink. i don't see "my recruitment is shut down" being 100% legit with these Palmetto kids

well, only 1 team can win each year. And so far the teams with the highest ranked recruiting classes are dominating the last several years of playoffs appearances. Teams loaded with 4 star and 3 star recruits aren’t making the playoffs in recent years. That is just a fact. Can you name a team that is finding hidden gems not rated as 5 and high 4 stars that are making the playoffs?

Has Georgia won a title since we last did? No. But they played for one recently. Does Bama win them all? No. But last year was the the only year they even missed the playoffs. Look at the recruiting rankings each year? If you don’t see the correlation of recruiting studs and who is making the playoffs you aren’t paying attention. Florida hasn’t been even relevant in the playoff chase since they started having a playoff. I would prefer to be in the conversation every year. We have a shot this year. But to be honest, we have our most favorable schedule in years.

like it or not, chasing the right 5 stars gives you a better chance to be a player for a title more than finding diamond in the roughs and coaching them up.

You want Florida to actually be relevant for a national title...won’t happen without elite recruiting.

In recruiting??? Lmao When some of the top players we recruit either transfer before they make it to the first game or dont qualify academically it takes up our the top 10...

If you want to compare us to the bottom feeders go ahead... it's like the a buck tooth girl saying I have the most perfect buck teeth ever

agreed with it all to here. I think we could definitely catch lightning in a bottle with how things currently are. But if we want to be a mainstay in the playoffs, we certainly need better recruiting.
There's a chance that patience is the answer. Its just the road less traveled.
