Frying up some more sliced up boneless chicken breasts to make our own version of the Cobb salad tonight.

95* here today with a heat index of 105* can’t wait for dog days to get here.

Ice cold longnecks and chilled wine are a must.

    LOL.

I have no idea why it is called dog days. My current dog is a miniature Australian shepherd and they have a double thick coat for working in the rain. I cannot believe that is comfortable in our Florida summers. I take her for her long walk early in the day but even then it can be miserable.

And Roglič suffered a dislocated shoulder.....used a spectator's chair to reset it - and finished!

Lovely display of iron will we are witness to each year......

That photo finish by the Aussie was also impressive! :emoji_bicyclist:

Tyler Hamilton was a doper, but his having a double fracture of his collar bone early in hte TdF, winning a mountain stage, and finishing in Paris was amazing.

We’re going to be trying a taco casserole recipe we’ve got tonight.

Our side will be a pot of fresh petite butter beans and whole kernel yellow corn.

Another hot one here today…ice cold longnecks and chilled wine are in order.

    @GatorLurker -

    How about Californian Neilson Powless?

Currently in SECOND place only FOUR SECONDS behind the leader Podacar.

And would be in yellow had it not been for the 10 second time bonus Podacar got when he won the stage.

    Soooooo close!!!

Tonight it’s fried pork chops, yellow rice topped with Rotel tomatoes, and leftover petite butter beans and yellow whole kernel corn.

    Another hot/humid one here today.

The back porch Yeti is restocked and the wine is chilled.

Tonight is clam linguini and caprese salad.

Tomorrow we are going to a friends' house where they are grilling and we are bringing salad and wine.
