If you give a "dislike" rating to someone does it count as a "negative rating?"
Not sure. To be honest I've never tried to break the ratings down. @GatorGrowl may know.
What is a “negative rating”?
Whatever it is, doesn’t sound good. And I sure hope “informative” doesn’t qualify, lest @gatorbogey will have obliterated me!
Always baffled me why some posters get their nose out of joint over a “Dislike” rating. Or a feeling of satisfaction over positive ratings, for that matter. It’s all just opinions on here, for chrissake, most of them (my own included) marginally informed at best.
Let's find out.
Sniffle, I thought we were supposed to all feel safe and validated on this site!
We need a Hug emoji.
I think, with no actual knowledge whatsoever, that the red on the right hand side of the (mostly) green bar under our posting data reflects negative ratings which, I speculate, are dislikes. I do not think disagrees are negative? Presumably enough red would make a person “dislikable” which, again presumably, would have dire consequences of some nature. However, no red at all, such as AKA, makes a person a Gator Saint.
I like Cheese.
Great example of how to pontificate on the most trivial of matters.
Do I need to get a lawyer???
I put people on ignore feature that act that way, so I don’t see their comments.
Oh man! There's a Black Mirror episode on Netflix that's about ratings. No negatives please.
Kudos to gatordavisl for rating my “I like Cheese” post as informative. That is hilarious.
That was an extremely cool (and unsettling) episode. Not as unsettling as the pilot episode with the pig sex, but ...
I don't think that I have ever given a "dislike". OK, maybe I have given one. I don't remember exactly if I did that one time or not. And if I did give one and you got it then you are very special.
Negative ratings are a badge of honor. Wear them with pride my friends.
What's worse, a "dislike" or a "disagree?" Or are they essentially the same?
Which emojis count as a negative?
I assume "Aw, c'mon man" is worse than "Dislike" but don't know for sure. I do wish the mods would create a "Worst Post Ever" I think I would find that handy.
