OT: 2020 Tampa Bay Lightning/Tampa Bay Rays Playoffs Thread

    The forecheck was the difference tonight. Just dominated the stars.
    It wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t see stamkos next game but see him in game 5.

    And again, cowardly cheap shots late by dallas, the hit on maroon was just dirty. Not that the NHL seems to care.

    the back to back could very well decide the series, Tampa did great in it against Boston when they needed to, need a similar performance here.

    Stammer doesn't sound confident on game 4 in his presser, but now he has contributed. I love that from a leader.
    This team honestly can only beat themselves. They are better than Dallas by a lot. They have to forecheck and get the puck out of their zone. Do those two things and Tampa wins in 5 or 6.

    The back to back coming up makes game 4 huge. They chased Khudobin, and that has to be concerning to Dallas.
    Khudobin is like 36 and has been a backup a lot. Get him early in game 4 and the back to back night puts Dallas on their heels.

    Past Tampa teams got complacent here. This one needs to drive the pedal through the floorboard.

    Great minds. I mentioned it above. Dallas forecheck was really good following the Stamkos goal, but after that Tampa was very heavy in the Dallas zone.

    Awesome for Stammer to get a goal so quickly and it was a pretty one, too. Kuch and Point continue their run. Go Bolts!

    My 2020 is being salvaged by the runs these two teams are on. great escape for Tampa fans. I love it.

    As expected, Stamkos out for tonight.

    Second to only the finals game 7 in Tampa, the next 33 or so hours will be the most consequential in the team’s history. They could be hoisting the cup, be one game away, or be one game from going home.
