OT: 2020 Tampa Bay Lightning/Tampa Bay Rays Playoffs Thread

The way the Bucs played against the 4-0 Packers, if they can keep it up, the Tompa Bay Bucs may have a chance at a Super Bowl. The D was fantastic.

 

There's going to be watch parties on Spa Beach by the new St Pete Pier.

 

Just FYI, it was announced today that Tyler Glasnow and Blake Snell will be the Rays' starting pitchers for games 1 and 2. I would assume the game 3 starter would be Charlie Freakin' Morton.

 

I'm hoping 1) Glasnow keeps the ball in the yard tonight, and, 2) Snell gets ahead in counts tomorrow to get some length before the evil "pitch count" or "third-time-through-the-order" knocks him out, and, 3) Meadows' and Lowe's bats wake up a little. If two of those three things happen, we can take one of the first two games and make this a very competitive series.

Rays were off last night. Split second behind and off in timing on damn near everything, off balance, and couldn't adjust to LA's sudden taste for small ball. LA in contrast, looked crisp in every respect (hat's off to them). Hopefully tonight, the Rays get back into their groove, and maybe knock LA off balance a bit....

Rays need to score against Gonsolin and May, as Urias has been lights out in the postseason, 2 ER in 16 ip.
