Just saw it no details yet but I saw could be for rest of the year and osu is hopeful he can play again in 2019.
Hearing in the Facebook groups possible agent money. Or something like that.
Clearly Saban is behind this.
Ohio St is a dirty program
What the heck does “YOLO” stand for?
You Only Live Once
Thanks. Not a big fan of abbreviations.
An issue from 2018? Hmmm....
If true, They’d have to forfeit games he participated in after taking money right?
Now, woiuldn't that be fun??
Chase himself came out and has said now it was a loan from a family friend and the loan has been repaid
I think someone has to prove that osu knew he was ineligible and played him anyway. If osu can show they didn't play him as soon as they learned of the issue they'll be fine.
“Family friend” (wink-wink..), how did he repay said loan, where did the $$$ come from??
Hi, I’m Drew Rosenhaus, your new ‘family friend’..
F***ing crooked sports agents. Only care about themselves and don't give a damn about the programs they could ruin. Of course, the kids are culpable too, but when you have agents throwing all that money in the face of a 19 to 21 year old, the temptation is enormous to them.
If OSU was monitering their program and found the issue and reported it, then they should be cleared, but the kid will probably face a 3 to 6 game suspension and he will have to pay ALL the money back, preferably to a charity, if this happened. OSU should also go after the agent legally and sue the crap out of them. At least our state has laws against these scumbags.
a family friend that's he known since the summer before he started at OSU?. That dont sound like much of a family friend if they only been around d about a year. Sounds more like a bagman that became acquainted with the family during recruiting season.
that would be a crying shame if something happened to an ohio state university ....
He probably foregoes the rest of the season now and just declares for the NFL Draft.
