Some of them could use some schooling.

The only skill required is practice. If a player has a bad FT percentage there is only one legitimate reason why

He is playing a good bit due to his defensive talent, which is what CMW always looks for.

I disagree that he can’t score, he has been asked to defend and rebound. His shooting (remember Duruji’s brick free throws) osifo is better, but they can work with him on some moves, taking his time and finding space, and dribbling. He will get there, he has time and a good attitude! I am surprised he is playing so much, but his defense is getting him on court. I don’t get to pick the players, but in his defense, I am glad he wanted to be a Gator! Murphree you wouldn’t score on this dude, book it. LOL

As a transfer student he would normally only have one more year of eligibility, but I think with COVID he still has two. If so, he and us would benefit from two more years

When I was 20 years old, I’d absolutely score on him. At 43, I’d still get a bucket or two out of 100 attempts. He still has no offense, though.

Practice is not a skill. Practice results in skill.

You and I, and I’m sure others, have said needs to play due to defensive prowess and ability to play strong/physical.

Even if I told you, how do you know I'm not lying. It's a pointless question, and if you know anything about basketball it's even more pointless question. Anyone can be scored on. There are probably hundreds of people who tell their friends and families about that time they scored a bucket on Michael Jordan in a pickup game.

Ah, cool. I played against Jayson Williams at the SW Rec the year after he turned pro. Did not score on him, mostly because he wasn't really playing defense. Played against Dan Cross in pickup a few times. I probably scored on him, but it I wasn't really keeping track. Played against and scored on numerous other D1-D3 players over the years. Had 25-30 against Earl Boykins a few years ago, but he wasn't really trying and he had about the same on me, again without trying hard. His pull up looked like video game speed. Didn't even know it was him until after, but I remember during the game thinking this guy is unexplainably quick and accurate. Played against nearly all the 1996 Gators football championship team star players at some point. Also random basketball team players, but can't remember which ones.
