Craziest thing about it is that the whole concept of Burrow falling into his lap is that he has Tennessee fans to thank for it. If they don't revolt when Greg Schiano is named as the target Burrow would have gone to Tennessee and Orgeron probably would have gotten the boot a couple of years ago.

One thing that you may not hear much is that while being a DC at FLA is a great job and should attract attention, potential position coaches know they will have to deal with DM.
I've mentioned before, he is not the most likable guy in the coaching circles.
I would go as far to say most don't like him one bit.

Mullen had Prescott, Trask and now AR fall in his lap. Made bupkis.

LSU OC didn't care and said "screw it, just run the trap every play" in the game yesterday.

Those type of situations often end that way, with the affected team playing their best game of the year. Ron Zook, at a field now named for him comes to mind.

Is Mullen being accused too loyal to his assistants? How bad a boss that he can be?

From what I've read, they're eyeballing Mel Tucker.

The last time they hired a Michigan State coach it worked out pretty good.

Hire Ed Ogeron as an offensive analyst ASAP and slide him into the Hevesy spot in the offseason. Solves a recruiting and offensive line problem at once.
