Meyer is important, but OSU has a vast and influential history as one of the Top Universities in the US both Academically & Athletically.

It will never be Open Season on their recruits as a result.

It’s not so much who has already committed but those that are considering OSU and us… I think if you look at it that way we deafly pick up two more good ones may have went to OSU. Elam seems all Gator but I was very concerned about the little interest he had in OSU. Knox should now come down to UF and UT.
    Higgins??
    Knox???
    Elam has some interest.
I could see 2/3 headed our way.

Because IMG is just a launching pad. It means absolutely nothing concerning a culture in Dlorida. It might as well be located in Dallas. UF has no footprint in this place , in fact UF may be the last place anyone from there wants to go right now.

Not so sure. Same university fired jim Tressel over tattoos for his players. Domestic violence against women is one of THE hottest topic in America right now. Not to mention at big 10 media days meyer blatantly said he knew nothing about it in 15 and even went as far as saying "I dont know who would even make up a story like that" only to come forward a few days later and admit that he knew the whole time yet took no disciplinary actions toward smith.

From everything I've read, heard and been told I do not think URBs will be the coach at OSU much longer.

I think Urban survives at OSU because he is one of the top 3 or 4 coaches in college football and all the bucknuts know it. All of those crazy fans and boosters knows every detail of this little soap opera, and my guess is they can live with Meyer trying to keep everything in his “inner circle”. Some in admin. won’t like keeping him, but they love all that $$$ rolling in. They all love dominating Michigan and the Big Ten and being in the national hunt every year. For me, there is just enough weirdness about this whole story to make me pause in my rush to judgement. I keep thinking that like the Duke lacrosse fiasco, some of the pieces of this story don’t quite fit. Because of all that I think Meyer survives but Shelley has to go. We’ll see.
Sorry to hijack forgot this was in recruiting.

I also think urban survives this, you already see the administration and alumni circling the wagons. And right now there are enough gaps in the story for plausible deniability. But I do think we'll see his heart condition coming back soon....

The info seems to go back and forth. Regardless of what the administration does with Urbs they will 1. have to deal with a lot of bad pub and 2. face a title 9 investigation.

My only disagreement is that you act like Ohio state fans are having a crisis pf conscious and are resolving their inner conflict reluctantly. Those a$$holes are rallying for the guy and are already trying to pull from the FSU catalogue of victim blaming

He knew about the abuse. Read McMurphy's report. Now for today they have the two options as Candy mentioned.
