Below is quote from business/news daily email I get...you cant make this stuff up! Students in Tuscaloosa, Alabama are playing a super fun game to see who can catch the coronavirus first, is a real sentence that I have to write apparently. A city council member told ABC News yesterday that students have been organizing “COVID Parties” as part of a game to intentionally infect each other with the virus. (Why can’t kids today engage with gold old-fashioned wholesome activities, like going down to the train tracks and poking a dead body?) City Councilor Sonya McKinstry said students are inviting guests who have COVID-19 to parties and trying to catch the virus from them, in what is presumably a weird sex thing. "They put money in a pot and they try to get COVID. Whoever gets COVID first gets the pot. It makes no sense," McKinstry said, describing the kids’ weird reverse tontine. Tuscaloosa Fire Chief Randy Smith confirmed that “yes, our children are idiots” at a City Council briefing on a coronavirus outbreak among the city’s young people. "We thought that was kind of a rumor at first," Smith told the council members. "We did some research. Not only do the doctors' offices confirm it but the state confirmed they also had the same information." Immediately after the meeting, the Tuscaloosa City Council passed an ordinance requiring people to wear face coverings when out in public, but unfortunately there’s no magic law that can stop kids from being idiots. Gotta Love the Fire Chief's quote !!!!!!!!!
