I laughed at you about continuously freaking out about whether Olivia Miller would be eligible to play here her freshman year. I’ve still yet to see a player in any sport in the portal era not be released from their LOI if requested before they enrolled in their freshman year, and it wouldn’t have been a big deal even if she wasn’t as she still had a free transfer. She was eligible her freshman year here, like I said she would be. I’d just about bet my house (paid in full, btw) I spend more money than you supporting the softball team. I know I attend more games. Stalking teenage girls doesn’t impress me as much as it impresses some of the other folks here. You’re still a nobody, just like me. I could actually afford to donate to NIL if I wanted to. I don’t think it’s my responsibility to give my hard earned money away to a kid who’s already been given way more than I ever was at their age. I don’t expect or demand anyone else do it either, but I will remind the folks who complain about missing on players or getting outbid that they’re welcome to step up to the plate if they want to make a change. If you want more money to be spent, spend more money, or raise it. I’m fine with whoever we get and will support them the same as I always have.
I give Reese Atwood a ton of competative credit, sticking in the moment, paying attention to how the pitches were being made and not relaxing and taking the freepass. It was quite a gutsy move on her part.
