Congratulations to all three girls. However, Kendra got screwed. She is the best outfielder in all of college softball and deserved to be on first team.

 

Congratulations to both Jocey and Kendra! Well deserved. Two of the best college players to ever play their respective positions. Both of these ladies have changed their natural fielding abilities into a craft through hard work and dedication. Great teammates. Glad they are both Gator! Go Gators!

 

While I am thrilled for all three of our kids, Kendra not being first team is border line criminal. Two years running with a gold glove and two years running hitting over .400. What else is she supposed to do????

 

Don't all three now get their likeness in huge in our hall of all-americans or whatever it is called? We're going to need another hallway.

 

And, defender of the year. What else does she have to do?

I'm not as familiar with these players as most of you here, but I would say the biggest distinction is in OPS. Put another way, who would you leave out, and how would you compare that player's stats with Falby's?

I absolutely agree,1000%. It has always amazed me that a Kendra was not made an All American last year.

 

Minnick from Indiana. Or one of the utilities could be taken off and Minnick could replace them. Heck Ella Parkers stats aren't better than Kendras except home runs numbers. She could've easily been second team instead.
