    Is Rothrock batting for real? Can she play another position? How about this scenario: Rothrock at pitcher, Brown at first. After first time through lineup, switch positions and switch back if needed. If a third pitcher is needed, Rothrock could leave game and still be eligible to return. This could also work with d DP position. Is this possible?

    As did several others, I wrote Lauren Staff thanking her for her nice summaries. I want to share with the forum members that she wrote back saying “Thanks. We have a lot of content planned and I look forward to sharing it. Have a great day and go Gators!”…. I’m impressed!!!

    How do you guys and gals rank this class? Are we Looking at complimentary poeces to a loaded team or will they contend for playing time?

    @rickjs1 would probably be the best to give a qualified answer to your question because he follows the travel teams much more in depth than anybody on this board. Kylie Shaw has been the name I've seen the most over the last couple of years. Makenna Bellaire is a catcher rated prtty highly. I know almost nothing about Matsumo. My guess is that with Falby & Otis graduating this year, Shaw may have the best chance to compete for a starting role next year. Our infield is already pretty deep and we have AK and Erickson as catchers, so it might take the other 2 longer to get significant playing time. But who knows? They come in and work hard and we'll see what happens.

    None of them will compete for a starting job. Shaw might get some fill-in time. 2025 was our down year overall due to the 2023 and 2024 outstanding classes. We got back to quality with 2026.

    I'm intrigued by Matsuno. TW must like her. It is a long way from California just to sit on the bench. Hopefully Rick can enlighten us.
