Useless and meaningless information but fun to look at. Through 12 games last year the Gators gave up 26 runs....this year 11.

Looking at current scores OkSt beat UW 7-0 on I think a 1hitter by Kilfoyl and UW only beat USF by 1 who we handled with ease and UW should've beat OU if not for a missed call. so I don't think that loss is anything but good experience for us.

 

Possibly the bearer of bad news. I don't know. The Judi Garmin tournament has for years been fully broadcast on Flosoftball. As the Mary Nutter is as I type this. But not this year. I don't know why and I don't know for sure the alternative for our games. Our first game on the schedule on our official page shows it is on ESPN+. Nothing else shows but we are not remotely consistent in updating tv broadcasts on our schedule page. So, I don't know what is happening and eyes closed and fingers crossed.

These softball rankings leave a lot to be desired. How can the Gators be ranked behind the likes of FSU 5 & 3, Stanford 5 & 4, Arkansas 8 & 2 who lost to Penn State. I'd even go so far as to say Gators should be ranked in front of 10 & 0 Alabama. They have played no team with so much as a pulse and had some relatively close games against a couple of bad teams. All of this will change. There is a new sheriff in town
