Disney's getting enough of my money as it is through my YouTube TV payment without an extra $10.99/month for ESPN+. It's a matter of principle to me, but eventually I may be forced to switch to Hulu Plus Live TV.
I wouldn’t pay for it either. Luckily I traded my service provider credentials with my brother for his espn+ credentials. He gets access to all my espn, espn2, sec, acc, espnu, etc content, and i get access to his espn+ content. Coolest thing is the app lets me stay logged into both accounts at the same time.
They’ve given access to people with big12 network, sec network, and espn+. There’s three streams available. I don’t really care what icon they put in the corner as long as I have access to watch.
What additional streams they may provide is superfluous. BIG 12 production made no sense. It had to be SEC+ and it is. As I have said from the start.
It was also on ESPN+, but I was sure glad it was also on SEC+. The game didn't show on the ESPN app as being on SEC+ until just a few minutes before the first pitch
Before the season, there a lot of speculation on Ava and Keagan. My early season assessment after two weeks is that they’ll do just fine. They will get even better with experience. Now, during the next seven game stretch, Chelsey and Tim need to give Liv some more work. She needs to feel “in the circle” pressure. She has only pitched 7.1 innings.
Totally agree. Rothrock & Brown have, so far, exceeded expectations. But we're going to have to develop 3 pitchers to have the type of season everybody wants and in her only start Olivia Miller threw a perfect game! She needs to be used more and thrown into the fire like the other 2. And what about our supposed "elite" offense. In the 3 games where we faced quality pitching we're 1-2. Beat Oregon State 1-0, lost to Michigan 2-1 in 10 innings and lost tonight to Oklahoma State 3-0. I know we're playing some freshmen, but our veterans - Falby, Wallace, Otis, Erickson, Walsh, etc. have so far done next to nothing agains the really good pitchers we've faced. The season is young, but the coaches and all observers have thought this was our best offense since the championship teams. Not showing it so far.
Katie has earned that starting role. She is the only one thus far that is hitting good pitching. She is not the best player the Gators have but I think she is the heart and soul of the team.
Not disagreeing with you on Katie. But, whether she ever has another at-bat, Baylee Goddard is the heart and soul of this team.
In 2022 and through the UGA series last year, Katie was good for one hit per game. Then she banged into the left field wall trying to make a catch in foul territory. She came out of the game. It took a month for her to fully recover it seemed although she continued to play. Then her HR in Palo Alto signaled her full recovery. I am hoping she has returned to her 2022 identity at the plate.
The commitment and tenacity of Goddard, sticking with it after 2 devastating, season-ending injuries is much to be admired and a great example for the rest of the team, no doubt.
Totally agree. She loves the game and loves wearing her late father’s jersey number. It is early in the season and I have no doubt she will have many more at bats. I think it is smart not starting her in the lineup right now. Any little movement the wrong way could lead to another injury.
Back in the day when I was a UF student, I lived for Saturdays in the Swamp. Excuse me, back then it was only known as Florida Field. Now that I'm old, I get a bigger kick out of watching these young ladies play softball on TV. My, how time changes things. Regardless, Go Gators....in all sports
That was a good interview with Walton. About what we've though I think with Williams and even Walace and Erickson to a point about just pushing too hard with the bat right now. Good to hear hovermale and McClellan are going to get their chances.
