Let me amend my answer. There are a handful of players doing individual drills that I noticed on a drive by.

One development I have seen since the Gators returned to campus has been Mia Williams being Skylar's shadow. Love that so much. Skylar might be naturally gifted but I think she is also the hardest worker on the team. Mia will learn a lot following her example.
Well, you can scratch one target off the list. Sophia Bordi from the Batbusters. Tim stopped following her two days ago. She committed today to Oklahoma. They all think they are the special one that won't wind up on the bench when Patty gets five portal players every year with money and a promise they will play. And they are almost universally wrong. Good two-way player. We will see what happens to her.
Question: Has anyone heard anything that came out of the Pitcher/Catcher Tryout Meeting yesterday afternoon?
Well, well, as the worm turns. Kendall Wells is a catcher out of Georgia who plays on Georgia Impact-Sampson. I'm pretty sure we put on a full court press to get her. Tim stopped following her three days ago at the same time he stopped following Bordi. Wells announced today.....Oklahoma. Perplexing to say the least. On the bright side, we already have a well established relationship with both of these kids so when they hit the transfer portal after their freshman season sitting on the bench, we can grab them. Just a guess, but I'm thinking this year we should be happy if we can grab just a couple stud players. I don't expect anything like the six coming in this year and the five coming in next year. At some point, Oklahoma aside, these kids have to do the math. Adding in Olivia and the portal players, we have 15 elite level kids coming in this year and next so when the Class of 2025 is ready to enroll they are already looking at a stacked team of still only juniors and sophomores and Lefty as a senior. Adding just a couple this year and even next year just adds to a loaded team.
