Know nothing Donald Trump tells crazy Robert F. Kennedy Jr to: "Go wild on health!!!" Wow! Doesn't that inspire confidence that we will be in good hands when the next pandemic strikes?!?

What's next? President Trump telling General Jack D. Ripper to : " Go wild on nuclear!!!"

By the way, Trump couldn't understand why antibiotics didn't work against the Covid-19 virus. He thought it was because the virus was "brilliant".

Personally I think putting a guy with zero medical or health background in charge is a pretty foolish idea. But I assume a Trump supporter will tell me why this not a foolish idea.

Q should by any minute now to tell you how it’s a brilliant move. I won’t see it, though, since I blocked his ass. Speaking of bad Trump decisions, he also wants to make CTE vegetable Herschel Walker head of missile defense. Such a great team he’s putting together.

    This.

    In for the laughs.

Wait, it won't actually be too funny when 100s of thousands of people unnecessarily die from Trump's stupidity on health care....just like happened during covid.

Well, the laughs are all we got now, so might as well take something.

"You are a very bad person Hungry Channing. Very bad. Everyone is telling me, all the doctors are telling me, that Kennedy is the best pick ever. He is the best Kennedy ever. I want living Kennedys not loser dead ones like John or Robert. People tell me, Mr President Dead Kennedy's is a punk band. Well they must be losers too. We will end the punk rock. It's very very bad. Lee Greenwood tells me, he says its bad. Very bad.

I saw RFK talking about deleting the “food” in FDA and “getting rid of stuff” yet bizarrely his issue is we don’t ban enough ingredients. He went on to cite a bunch of ingredients Europe bans. Sooooo… basically cut and paste the European list? I guess that’s “efficient”. Follow the leader and cede national sovereignty. The funny thing is doing that probably would improve the food situation. Not that he likely thought it through or a Trump admin won’t likely do other things to worsen food safety.

Don’t think that works so well with drugs. We develop so many drugs in this country. If we f around with the FDA then pharma companies will just do their trials and go through regulatory approval in non batshit crazy countries. It’s effectively ceding that business.

Between RFK on this and Herschel “in charge” of missile defense… just that it’s even a remote discussion - yeah we’re pretty well effed as a country.

The additives are all preservatives. Europe is much more densely packed, and generally don't have huge kitchens with pantries like we do. There is a reason why there's less than 40 Costcos in all of Europe.

Removing these preservatives will mean for will go bad faster. We already waste so much. It will mean more spending for the average family, and possibly higher prices due to shortages.

    Possibly.

I’ve always thought disclosure and labeling as the key (and holding companies accountable to those labels). It is pretty easy to find preservative free versions of everything (and that is generally in “packaged goods” anyway, and many preservative free dried goods can still have long shelf life). So expanding the list of “government banned food ingredients” isn’t something I’ve ever cared much about as a top issue. But it can surely be improved without pushing into inflationary territory.

Hopefully better ingredients will cause better health, maybe a net positive in the end

From the people convinced Covid was a Chinese bioweapon, can you imagine what it would be like if China did use this opportunity to release a bioweapon on the US... we would be decimated while this dope is telling to eat horse paste and rub some honey on our festering blisters...

There was a time when the Left was anti-war and would run like hell from neo-cons like Liz Cheney.
Now they mock Kennedy, Tulsi Gabbard and align themselves with Big Pharma.and the rest of the corrupt mainstream establishment. Good times.

So your objection to "the Left" is that they are just too conservative?

Walker said at a Macon rally “Vote for my friend and your friend Donald Trump Junior. Donald Trump. Jonald J. Trump.”

Walker also lied about being a FBI agent and having graduated UGA. He’s a real simpleton.

There was a time when the right was conservative and would run like hell from someone who wipes his ass with the constitution like Trump.
Now they mock real conservatives like Liz Cheney, Mike Pense and align themselves with kooky populists the rest of the corrupt grifter establishment. Good times.

    Fixed it for you...

RFK is mocked because he’s an anti-vaxxer kook who doesn’t know what he’s talking about on the subject and his ideas on it will 100% cause deaths, including children. That’s not shilling for “big pharma”, that’s just a fact.

His stance on food ingredients is kind of funny. Basically appears to just be “fire domestic govt employees, copy European liberal governments”.

Supposedly he’s an “environmental lawyer”, so I don’t know how he reconciles that with a role in the Trump admin. But I guess everyone has a price or that’s what it was always about.

I am reasonably certain he never graduated from UGA. I doubt he attended a class.
