Because they already had 3 true freshmen WR on the field last night. Does Copeland want to sit and watch them play for 2 years?

I can see that being enticing...just don't see that being enough to get him. Mullen gets the last visit, Copeland knows he's the only option for the "Percy" slot, and I think Copeland wants to be a Gator. If we start seeing visits get rescheduled....I'll start getting nervous

Seems like last post I saw from you was some resolution about being positive.

Sounds similar to your reasons why you didn't think Emory was coming here. How did that work out?

I doubt it’s a surprise to Copeland that Alabama is better than us. If that was his only consideration he would have committed there months ago and signed in December.

Ther was no face to face contact so why would it be a violation?

so we're supposed to pretend that as long as it isn't face to face then the contact doesn't matter? That's some 1950s mentality

It's simply the rule. Only face to face is not allowed, phone and text are perfectly fine

What if we send a raven? Does face to bird face contact run afowl of the rule?

Now you're just talking crow. Although it could be viewed as an advantage to the War Eagle and Game Cock fans.

Plus Justyn Ross is still considering Bama. (Auburn and Clemson too)

Some make it sound as if they can take 9 wrs.

There was that time we tried to send a messenger alligator to a five star recruit in Tampa.

    It...it ended poorly.

Of course Copeland was blown away by hearing from Bama on the night of the national title game. But that feeling of elation will subside. If signing day was tomorrow, I'd be much more concerned. Thankfully we still have some time.

Well, not all birds "caw". Virginia Tech is just going to gobble up some phone time. They might yelp some, too.

Alabama has the following commited for 2018:

Xavier Williams 6'1" 190 WR 137 overall out of Hollywood Florida

    Still considering bama for 2018:

5* Justyn Ross 6'4" 200 WR out of Alabama. 10 overall #1 player in alabama. This kid is a beast.

4* Jaylen Waddle 5'10" 175 out of TX. #51 overall

4* Jacob Copeland 6'0" 192 out of Pensacola. #54 overall

5* Devon Williams 6'4" 200 out of California. #22 overall

4* Jalen Hall 6'4" 192 out of California. #73 overall

4* Justin Watkins 5'11" 172 out of Clermont, Florida. #103 overall

4* Isaah Crocker 6'1" 175 out of California. #171 overall

4* Joseph Scates 6'3" 175 out of Ohio. Overall #309.

    2017 signees:

4* Tyrell Shavers 6'6" 200 out of TX. #88 overall.

4* Chadarius Townsend 6' 190 out of Alabama. #175 overall. Listed as athlete but can play WR and RB.

    • 2017 they signed 4 WRs and 1 ATH that plays WR in the TOP 175 in the nation
    • 2018 they have 4 WR/Aths commited with many more on their board.
I didn't check their roster but that's at least 9 in the last 2 classes. They really have ALOT of kids considering them.
