I think we should be fine, but I do wonder about early season gelling for our OL

I know, and almost seemed liked Dawgs had it sewn up early. I say that based on dad’s reactions. All surprising considering older bro went to Gs. Tech.

I think I'd much rather play the Canes just as scheduled....

Diaz still has to put his team together, seeing how many players he got through the portal... and "little shorty" Martell is still clueless, while Coach Mullen has the Gators more prepared.

You don't want to give the Canes more time to prepare..... hit 'em now... roll over them...next!

With Miami’s HBC coaching his first game and all their transfers playing their first games, it sets up nicely. While the Gators will improve over the season (especially the OL), Miami might improve more as staff and team gain experience playing together. Hope the Gators outwork the Canes over the off-season as well as August camp. As Urban says, “the most invested team wins”.

Coming out of Spring we looked like a team with clear direction. They looked like a team trying to find their way. Don't think there is much way for them to close that gap before the first game.

The two USC transfers to Miami are not even on campus yet. No real practice time in system prior to the Fall semester.

Well, I have the same questions as you, most likely. He was cleared to take part in a pool party at Hevesy’ house. That much we know.

Ethan is a hoss. That’s good. Eguakun will be a man in the middle. McDowell will be very strong. Those are three of the backups.

Front page article confirms that Banks has gone from individual training to ready for practices, making it sound like he has his health and is ready to go.

    THAT IS HUGE!!!!!!

It will be interesting when the pads go on to see where Banks is at in coming back.

The Canes defense is one of the most overrated D's in the nation. There schedule was HORRID and that "elite" defense won them 7 games and got flat EMBARRASSED against Wisconsin. A team that had a FR QB at the helm, no WR's, and just a great RB. They lost their best players off the DL, their LB's are great, but their DB's are meh at best.

Meanwhile, is there anything worth mentioning on their O? QB is terrible, WR's and TE's are ok, and their OL is trash, and their RB's are suspect. I see this going almost just like the cesspool game, close for a quarter or 2, but CDM puts the foot on the gas and we blow their doors off.

I know he's good to go. But I'm curious where he is strength and conditioning-wise and how he is responding to the physical grind of camp.
