Is it as bad as a one legged man come to an azz kicking contest? LOL
Oh Mexico ............ Never met a bribe they didn't like.................
Be careful of the free alcohol. You get what you pay for.
I guess we need Candy to make a final 7 vacation destination thread lmao
I live in Mexico and am enamored with it. That said, I would never go to Cancun or Puerto Vallarta either. Once beautiful places now a mess. There are much better temples elsewhere and nicer beaches too. (Zicatela Pipeline in Puerto Escondido is a great surf spot and Oaxaca has some of the best Mexico has to offer for authentic moles, arts and temples.) The beaches in Michoacan (off the beaten path) are the nicest I know. Travel anywhere is bad right now, but especially bad in Mexico for both health and safety reasons. If it is simply fun adventure travel one is after (rafting, zip lines, horseback in the jungle, Surf)Costa Rica has some great spots not far from Quepos or down in Corcavado (Pavones), but CR is kind of in the crapper compared to its glory years.
They had positive things to say. They’re not into “the lifestyle” (so they claim), and didn’t engage in any extracurriculars (so they claim).
I have never been to Mexico as an adult. I went several times as a small kid but don't remember much. I'd love to go again, I love the food and culture. Im not much for "touristy" stuff. I always want to see a country as the locals do. However, due to safety concerns I cant bring myself to go. Saddens me.
When the time comes Ky., let me know and I can help a lot...especially if you have an interest on the influences of indigenous cultures, arts, history, culture etc. Real Mexico is MUCH more like Europe than the USA so the food is extraordinary. Did you know that a Mexican wine was just named best cab sauv wine in the world? Don Leo!
BTW, I taught at UK once and am a proud Ky Colonel!
The special "Yankee" tax?
Awesome. And thanks! I will keep you in mind as a resource!
Seen the same thing in Cabo too
Well that doesn’t sound like much fun
Aren’t y’all supposed to be the wildcats?
So is it now the final 7 GC posters that have never been to Mexico?
Ahhhh, life of recruiting in the midst of a quarantine and pandemic.
In what ways, real estate prices not appreciating or was tourism down pre- COVID?
Well I can not either confirm nor deny we knew of such things before booking our stay lol..... but in all seriousness the reviews were great and most spoke of a resort that you can either relax the entire time or party the entire time but they mention the two do not neccesarily invade each other. In other words it's big enough for both worlds. The rates were obviously good and the room is sweet with a additional jacuzzi on the balcony.
Oh yeah almost forgot, they have optional topless beach and topless pool areas.
Worthless without pics
