Horrendous 1st quarter and played even the rest of the game. This is the type of game that Kelley Rae Finley MUST win and she just can't get it done. As much as I like her and have been pulling for her, I no longer see her as being able to get us over the hump. Once again, we need to start over with Gator Women's basketball.

 

I was at the game, was not going to post during my time there. Was with a group of people and I really hated posting something like that. But it shows up even more when you are live at the game.

 

Pretty sure this is the first time I've said that. I've been pulling for her big time since she was first named head coach. But it's obvious by now that she's over her head.

 

It is true and I didn't say you.... but fans who have been around for years who don't fall in line with the sunshine pumping in the face of a different reality aren't going to contribute as much. That approach has led to a less active forum here as well.

I will continue to beat the drum this was a rush hire to appease the pc crowd.

 

I’ve stayed clear of the women’s basketball threads for a couple of years mostly for that reason. It’s pretty clear and has been clear that she isn’t the answer. For me, being emotionally invested in something that you know won’t work isn’t a productive use of time.
Everybody likes her. Everybody respects the situation she was thrown into, but we are where we are. if there’s any good news, it’s that everybody is finally on the same page so maybe there will finally be some change. Not that it will come before the end of the year and not that we won’t lose some of our good players in the process probably… but I can’t see any way that Strickln keeps her after this year.
