I only caught the end of the game, but it looked like Mike White was using a 1-3-1 matchup zone. Trapping the UT bigs and creating turnovers. Did we play that for most of the game? The defense looked amazing tonight. Do we play that defense often? I could see why he would go to that without some of the guys available. Locke looked impressive in the bottom spot in the zone. Do you think we will use that defense more going forward?
Who would be going to the bench? I love Payne's potential, but he's had a handful of games like tonight that teased me into thinking he'd break through. He's just so inconsistent in effort and confidence, but hopefully this is a turning point game for him.
The reverse jinx worked perfect.
Yeah they didn’t play like a team that was very inspired. I believe they thought they would win this game easily and let Florida gain confidence as the game went on. Then it was too late, the game was out of reach. Looks like they overlooked the Gators because of 3 starters being out.
It depends on which part of the game you are talking about... Most of the first half he was stream of consciousness.
I wonder how many student body fans will start wearing Ronald McDonald face and hair disguises when we play Tennessee at home. Lol... That's a joke that has real staying power...
Why are the benches under the rims instead of he sidelines? We ain’t Vandy.
That and dressing up as the FBI for Wiretap Wade. lol
May as well throw in the Hambugler for added fun too.
Good win tonight. Have to bring that type of effort to every game.
I have just been reading the 50 page long game thread on Vol Nation. It's terrific.
It's just lovely to follow the comments about how Florida got off to a great start, but it won't last.
Taking a page out of the Dan Mullen book on coaching?
Twin towers with Payne and CC?? Hmmm..that is interesting
Now that Jitoboh can contribute a few minutes of backup here and there, I'd kind of like to see Colin and Payne together.
