Me, too. One stat that the announcers threw out yesterday is that Florida hasn't won a single game this year where we trailed after 4 innings. I think 0-12. Got to get the lead early, our pitching has to be sharp and they MUST hit with runners in scoring position. We are so much better than Georgia and simply cannot let them knock us out of yet another Super Regional at home.

It is the clutch hitting that will make the difference. They have a chance to prove whether they have the "it" factor or not. And against Georgia too.
    C'mon Ladies!!!!!!

More useless info. Only 5 of 15 Gator losses were by 2 or less runs. The other 10 ranged from 3 to 8. Average Gator loss is by 3.5 runs. In other words, this team usually wins but when they don't it usually isn't close. Go Gators

You got an AGREE from one of the respected posters on this and you may be right. She is our ace after all.

It's just that UGA seemed to have her timed up in her two innings yesterday and others have posted how we really need to have a good start. Ava has the ice-water veins, veteran experience to handle a deciding game. Might be interesting to start her, short leash, with Rothrock to relieve.

Watching the tennessee v nebraska game. Tennessee coming out with so much energy compared to nebraska. Gators have to come out with this type of energy.

Agree - I can't stand the Vols, but Pickens is one great pitcher.

Not to be a contrarian. And I realize the point was in regard to pitching. But, Ava "Ice Water Veins" Brown was 0-3 yesterday with 3 SO's and 6 LOB's w/ 5 of them RISP. I always chuckle when Brown hits a HR and Kyle Crooks bellows how she's built for the big moment. I get it, each of us has a player(s) that we're totally invested in. A short list of mine were Bush, Dewitt, and Adams. With the recently added Otis and rising star Shoemaker.

All that said. I hope Brown is 3-4 today and a triple short of the cycle. That every Gator player contributes in their own way to a winning effort. As hard as it will be, don't let the moment get too big. To do as Shoemaker recently said post game "see ball, hit ball". Which I'll amend to see ball, hit ball hard. The Gators are the better team. They need to go out and prove it, and leave no doubt.

    Next stop, OKC. Go Gators!

Georgia has scored 3 runs in 2 games. That trend continues I'm optimistic our bats get us to OKC.
