    Yup.

His minutes tonite were a personification of my discussion with @cincinnatigator.

We saw a couple offensive flashes, but he just isn't there yet. Mike will really have to pick its spots with matchups. Maybe zone when he is in there. . . I dunno.

Yup. A team that only has 1 good outside shooter and we can play zone on is good for Stokes (preferably w/ Hayes in too). But Stokes/Hudson on the floor at the same time resembles the FSU offensive line... Ole'

Our defense was horrible in the second half but it was good to see us break 50 points.

The guys need to work on boxing out and rebounding, for sure.
But PTL, we weren't chucking up dumb contested threes that has been our MO all season, it seems. So happy to see our Gator Boyz driving to the hoop. I hope it continues.

Auburn is vulnerable with their post guy out.

If Hayes and Bassett get into foul trouble, zone is probably the way to go for us. Bad as Stokes was on defense tonight, I'd still like to give him a few minutes each half.

I don't know the technical term for only leaving one player when shooting free throws but I think that had something to do with those two Johnson missed near the end of regulation.

Oppposong teams will learn one day NOT to do the mock chomp during the game. Off top of my head you got the Peach Bowl, Tennessee in 2017 (football game) and this game as the latests examples. Never do it during the game because 9/10, you are going to lose. Lol. Everytime I see it being done during a game I calm down because I already know what the outcome is going to be.

If you get a chance to see a replay it is well worth the time. Ole Miss is a talented team with some really good guards.

And throw in Okaru and/or Ballard. That's 3 ghosts on defense.

I thought 3-5 minutes was a good starting point for him, White gave him 8 which is pushing it honestly. He has defensive issues. I think that'll improve with game repetitions. It doesn't get better in practice when you're practicing against offensive doofuses. When he goes up against some of the SEC's best big men is where he can absorb and sooner or later it'll start clicking in his head. He's a freshman after all. We've had some legends come through here with worse looking freshman years.
