A big difference between Egan and the other oufielders like Goelz and Kistler. The ball really jumps off her bat. Much more powerful swing.

All I can say is we won. Game should not have been close. Great outing by EH against a good hitting team.

 

Wasn't pretty, but we need all the wins we can get. Go Gators!

 

Hightower was excellent and our ladies pulled put the Win on the road in the SEC. Pretty good in my book. Love Pal Egan - what a ball of energy and one who truly loves being a Gator.

 

Our ladies were able to finally give Hightower the run support she needed...the first inning was her shaky inning-but she settled down-
Thanks for everyone's contributions-it sure feels good to win regardless if uk is good or not-a win is a win in the SEC-

Yes. And please retire those stupid looking football uniforms with the big numbers on the front and back.

 

What a pitching performance by Hightower after the HR shut down a potent offense in Kentucky. but the biggest moment was going 3 up and 3 down in the bottom of the 7th. This is the type of pitching that Florida needs down the stretch. Most likely will be Elizabeth in the circle again tomorrow so hopefully the gators can score a lot more runs tomorrow.

 

Excellent win up in Lexington tonight.

Really glad for E. Went the distance and kept UK in check. She is really easy to like and to cheer on. She has done nothing in her UF career except work and give everything she has. I am going to miss her, and know, though, that Florida Gators Softball will roll on.

 

She's definitely in the lineup for her bat -- well deserved -- and not her fielding or base running which has been a bit suspect.

Very much doubt it's EH tomorrow, can't rule it out but think we are much better served to use her game 3. Maybe we get good Delbrey

 

With all these new players coming in next year how about a new design for the softball uniforms. Let's add some pizzazz to this group.
