Had we shot our FTs better we would not have had to foul at the end

Down 4 with 12 seconds or so to go - why not bring in Glover to push the ball up the court as fast as possible? Use that speed when fast is needed!

I wonder why we have no problem speeding up the pace of play and pressing and stealing when it is absolutely necessary because the clock is against us late in the game, but we won't implement that strategy consistently when we are playing well.

Well the SEC was not about to let this game slip away from UK...we did our best just couldn’t cover the odds.

MW just can’t figure it out. How many times in the last 5 years have you thought to yourself “we won that one because of the coaching, strategy, half time adjustments, ability to motivate, pushing the right buttons”.....obviously a nice guy, but games like tonight just happen all too often.

While it was close, I can't believe the spread was only 4 1/2. Unfortunately, that was free money to betters.

It really is so much easier to press at the end of games. It also would force more minutes from our bench. I have no problem with that, but if we do we can't have fans questioning why guys like Glover (who someone said should transfer), Jitoboh and Bassett into extended minutes.

MW needs to figure out how to avoid these droughts - or at the very least how to get his guys to realize they aren't LeBron and move the ball.

Boys fought hard, one thing about his teams is they don't quit.

We were in it to the end. Quickley killed us in the 2nd half. You knew it when that slop-shot 3 went in.

We go through droughts at home as well. Until that changes, we can’t consistently beat good teams.

He has to finish over bigs or pass. When does he do either?

He and Maxey were their entire offense.
Unbelievable that we couldn't stop two people.

I’m a fan of the program. I’ll keep watching, and keep posting, but thanks for the advice. I assume you take this loss in stride, and are happy that it was close? The drought we went through was fine. No big deal. I’m sure in year 10 we’ll get it figured out.

Been happening against UK for 5+ years. Remember the F4 team had a 17 point lead in the SEC tourney final and barely won. The same team had a 20+ point lead in G'Ville and UK game back. We lost to them one year when Bobby Mays brought them back from 7 down with like 5 minutes left. Those were coached by the guy who's name is on the court in Gainesville.
