Oh well. Maybe it was the bad weather outside. Review the game then burn the tape and move on.

Florida needed a faster, athletic bigger line-up today that could both play defense, rebound and score: i.e,
You can't let the other team score over 50+ points in the first half and expect to win!

Tre Mann, Lewis, Johnson, Blackshear, Jitoboh/Payne.

    That 4-guard line-up was a mess today.
They kept double-teaming Nembhard which either stalled UF's offense or led to turnovers (4 by AN today).

Disagree. When your defense is bad Your offense Has to be structured and can’t just be “wing a shot” as that puts us right back on the defensive end where we are weak. Ever heard a coach say “best defense is a good offense”? You’d be shocked what happens to a hot shooting team when they are forced to play defense. Changes their shots as legs get tired “if” made to play D.

Gators manage 75 points after a horrible start but problem was Missouri was lights out for most of the game

I'm not sure why you are getting so upset. I couldn't remember when Pinkins left to coach. No need to get angry.

So........this the 2nd time in 3 games that we let a team shoot the lights out against us. Not liking that trend.

On offense they pressured Nembhard & he couldn't figure a way to overcome it. He had been playing brilliantly aggressive for the past 1.5 games, I hope he learns how to play through this. We have a lot of new people who don't know how to play team defense. That will develop over the course of the year.

Quite honestly, I've always heard it reversed . . . at least as it relates to sports.
Anyway, the game was a disaster. No sense arguing which aspect was worse.

Florida loses to Missouri for the first time since 2015 (Donovan's last season).

Key had 2 fouls in the first 3:26. Seems he played tentative after that (to say the least).

Their shooting stat line was off the charts.

Next time out, if we beat a mediocre Ole Miss team in a close game by immensely out-talenting them, we will hear again how this team has turned the corner. It will be untrue. This is what every team of this era will look like.

me too. best offense is a good defense (leads to transition buckets)

Yes no arguing this one, was a $hitshow from the opening tip.

In my opinion that is all about effort. That goes on the coach. You don’t leave people on the floor who don’t give A+ effort. Put them on the bench. Play the walk-ons
