Abysmal shooting 3's AGAIN - 26%. Missouri even with us on the boards 37-37. But their guards outplayed ours and they just made the plays when they needed to and we didn't. As good as Haugh is, he missed 3 shots badly in the last 2 minutes. Fland, Lee & Klavcar and not physically strong enough to body up to guys on either end of the floor and teams are going to take advantage of that all year. And Missouri attacked the heck out of our bigs and the rim and forced the action. But when your starting guards are only 6-20 and 3-13 shooting 3's, plus only shot 2 free throws the entire game, it just shows the weakness of the team. I don't care if it's on the road, this is a BAD loss and at some point doubt has to start creeping into their minds that they can't win close games - because so far they can't!

Now 12/61 from 3 this season (20%). Who would have thought after Xavian Lee's horrible shooting to start the season that our other guard would be even worse. We really struck coal in terms of shooters this year.

Can't miss shots AND have mental mistakes on top of it.

It just makes you appreciate how great Clayton, Martin & Richard were because one of them always stepped up in crunch time.

Shocking. I don’t see it changing. Fland and Lee both have open looks but they have zero confidence of making them.

One of the key plays of the game, was when we finally took the lead and had a chance to extend it. Then Condon shoots a 3. Then they immediately take the lead back. Terrible decision!

Has to be one of the softest ballers out of the Bronx. Dude can’t finish at the rim or hit 3s, and I see zero dawg in him.

We can’t make them (Boogie is the worst 3 point shooting guard I’ve ever seen in a Florida uniform. He shouldn’t take another one the rest of the season.) and our opponents get lucky ones, the most devastating being that bank shot. Another one was the mizzou player who had one made 3 pointer in his career and he tied the game going into the half with the buzzer beater.

I would rather Lee take that last shot than Fland. Boogie is a bad 3 point shooter if I haven’t mentioned it already.

The problem is that it looks like we will be in a lot of close games. Without great defense or 3 point shooting, you're not pulling away from anyone in the SEC. Most of our games will probably come down to the last few possessions and that is where you need clutch players at the guard position.

    Thomas Haugh played 39 minutes.
All five starters played 30 minutes or more.

    I don't know.
Would have been nice to play more of the bench players more minutes.

Condon took a 3 and Haugh took a turnaround, 1 foot, fallaway from 15+ ft away. He never takes those so it’s not like he should have confidence in it. Plus he was gassed down the stretch. Have to value the end game possessions better than that.

Agreed. Haugh was gassed down the stretch. Would like to see Ingram get some minutes in relief of him at the 3.

I thought the same thing. They baited him into that shot. And on the other end to contrast things. We tried baiting their big into shooting a 3 and he passed it for a basket.

I don't believe he stepped up. He had a good game but had a couple air balls near the end, a couple very early in the shot clock that lead to points for Mizzou.

I think this team has a combination of really horrible luck and just isn’t as good as last year. If the luck even turned around we’d be a Final Four threat. I’m still convinced that we will go on a run pretty soon here.
