In Kenpom, this game moved us to #11. Kenpom also shows us having the 4th-toughest schedule to date.

 

It’s Boogie fever, Boogie’s time. A big step for Boogie, a big step for Gator basketball!

Outside his 23 points, Boogie also had a good all-around floor game.
5 assists to 2 turnovers, 3 rebounds, 4 steals. He was a menace on defense. I can remember only one play he got beat on, due to a great fake by Gillespie.

I'll bet the mortgage CTG told them in the locker room, "See how good we can be?"

 

BTW, we hung 91 on the nation's #14 defense (we're 6th).

 

It was an unbelievable game by Boogie, Jay Bilas said it was an All American performance. He kick started the runaway with a three, then a rebound and took it all away with a NBA finish. The second half began the Boogie show with all the Gator trimmings, Rueben, Klavzar, Tommy, Condon and Lee. The end of the second half Rueben became a monster rebounding everything, blocking out and scoring at will. Jay Bilas said he is a force you half to deal with. Team win with two exceptional performances on national tv. Hear the Gator roar, he jumped in Tennessee’s boat today and wrecked havoc, Goooooo Gators!

 

UT shot 40% from three. We shot 30%……..but we outrebounded them by 11. That just seems to be our game. We win if we can be not horrible from 3.

 

Also, per Torvik, looks like someone has replaced UT as the top offensive rebounding team.

 

Now we gotta win on the road

 

Or at least rebound the misses and turn them into layups and made free throws.

 

It was a perfect game in many ways. Lee broke the ice on his slump and backed it up, so hopefully we see Boogie play more solid going forward (obviously he was more red-hot here than just merely solid, but you know what I mean).
