They all have work to do in the offseason, Ava I think will get there. I’d like to see her hit at least two more homers to tie Haegers freshman campaign total. If she wants to hit more go for it kiddo lol!
We all know and understand that team BAs dip as competition ramps up but I felt the drop off last season was unacceptable and I was absolutely calling for Arics head. How he’s got this offense firing on all cylinders this season is impressive. I’m glad CTW kept him around. Aric please except my apology, you just needed more time.
And then there’s Keagan! Coming into her own before our eyes. We can talk about teams we’d rather not face and rightly so but who wants to play the Gators! Chomp Mizzou ladies and put the top 8 seed discussion to an end. Go Gators!
I doubt Sarah Longley or her parents read this forum anymore, so I can say something that I would not say if she were a current player. There are definite parallels between Longley and Williams. But Mia seems to have an upside that is apparent to the average fan. While it's taking her longer than expected to get adjusted to D1 and the SEC, she seems to have the potential to breakout at some point. I'm gonna bet that the sky is the limit. Sarah's upside was apparent only to CTW. Of course, I'll defer to him and what he saw in practice and his knowledge of the game, but her potential upside was well hidden, at best.
Yeah, Mia's freshman year at the plate is roughly equivalent to Sarah's career numbers.....Mia will almost certainly improve well beyond that
