Yeah, right... New York is the bastion of good people... especially those in government. That whole system there is corrupt.

While I get what you are saying...And agree with it...There is some serious irony in your statement.

Well, we already knew that a large portion of Trump's charity work was using other people's donations to buy himself gifts, but this is the first time I've heard that he was using other people's charity donations as campaign funds.

It's pretty clear from his use of Trump Foundation funds to buy things for himself and Trump, Inc., pay off settlements on his behalf and pay his personal campaign expenses that DJT viewed and treated the Trump Foundation as his personal piggy bank.

That is not possible. DJT promised he was the law and order candidate. That means he would have definitely followed the law when it came to running a charitable organization, just as he did with Trump University. DJT would never rip anyone off. His businesses have always been about integrity and honesty. He gives Honest Abe a run for his money on truthfulness. Just ask him.

I feel for everyone that has to deal with the bureaucracy, favoritism and cronyism when doing business anywhere in a state like NY... especially in NY city.

Funny that the same posters who have continuously bashed the Clinton Foundation as a scam, despite the fact that it is a legitimate charity and has received high ratings from Charity Navigator have been silent on the Trump Foundation which in fact has been determined to be a scam by the New York State Attorney General, unless they consider the Trump Family and the Trump Organization actual charities and activities such as campaign contributions, the payment of damages in lawsuits against the Trump Organization and the purchase of a portrait of Donald Trump legitimate charitable functions.

It's a shame Charity Navigator doesn't rate the trump foundation. Like his school grades, trump would probably threaten to sue them if they made the score public.

Trump Should Pay $5.6 Million Penalty Over Charity, New York AG Says

President Donald Trump should pay a $5.6 million penalty on top of $2.8 million in restitution for spending money from his charitable foundation on business and political purposes, the New York attorney general told a judge in seeking a ruling without a trial.

Neither Trump nor his three eldest children, all of whom had senior roles at the Donald J. Trump Foundation, have provided evidence rebutting the state’s claims that they failed to meet as a board, oversee grant-making or implement policies to protect the charity’s funds from abuse, New York Attorney General Letitia James said in court papers Thursday.

"In this vacuum of oversight and diligence, Mr. Trump caused the foundation to enter repeatedly into self-dealing transactions and to coordinate unlawfully with his presidential campaign," James said, citing the charity’s internal emails, government filings and admissions made under oath.

Clinton Foundation funds were used for Chelsea's wedding; Barack Obama was born in Kenya; Seth Rich was the victim of a hit on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC; and a child porn ring was run out of the Comet Ping Pong pizzeria in DC. I know all of statements are true because I read them on the Internet.

So, was money divert from his charities to his businesses or not? Because that would be the deciding factor into whether the investigation was “favoritism” or “cronyism?” You do know that it is illegal to use charitable funds to buy a personal portrait for your business? And, that makes the money taxable personally. And it is potentially criminal. Otherwise, this is an off topic statement.

I don't know what's more hilarious. The fact that you said that the Clinton's charity was real and received high ratings or that you expect the NYAG and those "charity ratings" to be neutral and non-partisan in their efforts.
