Maybe the kid realized how over-matched he is and should never been at UF. That kind of stuff happens. We've had players that never did much at UF, but were able to play elsewhere because their talent was comparable to their new team.

Tyler Murphy at BC. He was crap here, Muschamp ineptitude not withstanding, but was pretty serviceable his last year at BC.

Years ago, we had a defensive tackle transfer out (to Hampton?) because he wasn’t gong to start. Both starting tackles alternated getting injured during the season and the #4 tackle subbed for them ended up being first string All-SEC.

When you’re a freshman, it’s a little early to think about leaving.

Have you priced Old Milwaukee or Milwaukee Best recently? I haven’t, but my guess is that it’s close. It’s been a long time since I was in the market for cheap beer, but I’ve never understood light beer.

There is no cheap real beer. There is only real cheap beer. Which isn’t beer. It’s advanced wort. Lol

Old Milwaukee best is Miller light that didn’t pass the brewmasters inspection.

I brew craft beer. So I tend to be a bit snobbish. No judgement intended. Just giving all a hard time. :)

I can brew anything on the shelf for $0.53/beer. Of course, there’s a brewing process. Just saying. :)

Oh man so did I. Busch and Old Milwaukee were the cheap beers we drank. Budweiser was too expensive. Miller in the clear bottles was a treat.

BTW, I’m all about craft beers now.

Heck, an 18 pack of Busch is $11 and it’s not the greatest but it’s leaps and bounds better than natty

We drank natty ice, which was the same price as natty light but about 6% instead of <4%. Still taste like chit, but got the job done faster.

A friend left on of those in my boat. I drink craft beers but have no problem downing a Busch or Bud. I tried to drink that foul garbage but just couldn’t force a natty ice down. That’s the most god awful brew I’ve ever tasted. I’d rather drink an OE.

We drank that too. A case of quarts (since we didn’t have 40’s) for 10$ could do a lot of damage. I think just a sniff of malt liquor would make me gag nowadays.

I’d rather have a mixed drink most of the time, but if I’m drinking beer, shiner, Zeigenbock, amberbock are at the top of the list. Maybe a shock top or blue moon if no bocks available.

Mostly IPA for me but I’ll drink Busch or Bud if I’m offshore in the sun all day. 12 pack of some of those will knock me on my ass.
