Perception. Auburn has looked good in most of their wins and only dropped one turd all year. They took both Georgia and Bama to the brink of their most competitive wins all season. Most know Auburn really beat Bama and that was a huge recruiting win. We have just the Tennessee game to hang our hat on and that was so last year when we did it.
We took the #5 & #8 team to the brink as well. Auburn didn’t look any better than we did. This was about $$$ and nothing more.
When you get down to it we were about 10 plays away from being 8-4. Not that it really matters but thinking Auburn is head and shoulders ahead of us is moronic.
Yep...pretty much those 9 or 10 plays were on the defense. And Napier did not have control over that. Some negative nellies serm to have forgotten that.
I don't think so. Freeze is a better coach than BN and I think they have a better D. And possibly O too.
When Freeze gets a stud portal QB this year, and he will, they're going to be very, very formidable. Pisses me off, but I think he's about to do a 2 year turn around that we're all going to envy with the talent he's bringing in.
