Hopefully now our herd of Eyores will head off into the, "Negativity Sunset" and take their black clouds with them. Gosh fellows, one wonders how MANY of the negative posters were just Gator imposters.
Or just maybe sick of trending down a sinking hole. But happy for you that we went from #3 to maybe 14 or 15. Seems such downward trending is the norm. Is sad that some gator fans have accepted the state of UF football. How many decommitted? A good question is why? I doubt it was all NIL money.
Guys, I am an Eyore and actually I am sick of constant negativity on my part. You guys are right for calling me out, I hate seeing where we are at, but all my negativity isn't going to help other than venting. I'm doing myself and us a favor and will stop posting, taking a long time out and really hoping UF can right the ship.
UF got the best QB, DL, and LB in this class arguably. Lagway, McCray, and Graham could be program changing talents and were the best three players in our class. We held on to them which is massive.

Truthfully in the age of the portal I think it is even more important to look at the average rating of your recruits vs. your class rank. You need quality out of high school mixed with the portal to address immediate needs. I don’t care if we are #3 with 35 recruits vs. #15 with 18 highly rated players supplemented with targeted portal players who can fill in holes at immediate areas of need.
If you look at average rating, I think we fall somewhere around 7th or 8th. Problem is the numbers. Hopefully, the portal will help fill the class out.
