You’re defending a man wasting millions of our money on a birthday party with a man that put illegals in a hotel before he had them deported. Maybe if Trump put some illegals up in hotels he would reach the deportation rate of our former president. Just a thought, you know Your FEMA stuff reads like a flat earth conspiracy story to me, sorry…
there is always risk in these types of protests - I will be carrying today when we are out and about. In the State of Florida if these yayhoos surround your vehicle and you feel threatened you can run their asses over without fear of prosecution
As Brene Brown is quoted “clear is kind” - you may not like the messaging but you know what you’re getting.
Where are the gulags? Where are the re-education camps? Which political party rounded up US citizens and put them in camps? Which political party worked to limit average Americans free speech recently during COVID? Where were the protests then? None - because when you voiced your opinion, say at a School Board meeting, you were investigated by the FBI. Which side of the political aisle DEMANDS you use certain words, certain pronouns, etc.? And, passes laws that cause you to lose your job if you do not comply? Yes, tyrannical government is a concern and it will snatch you up because you’re looking the wrong way.
A sheriff threatening to kill and send citizens to the hospital … for physically attacking officers…is hardly tyranical government. Fixed it for you.
What part about a sheriff threatening to kill citizens is not tyranical? Is a sheriff's job to kill citizens?
I don’t like parades in general. A giant military parade to show mighty fragile egos, even less . Lots of other ways to honor the military and army. Ymmv
I took his comments as quite unprofessional. If you contrast those to the video of Grady’s previous comments, Grady walks the line while still staying tough. This guy came across as an old redneck, whether he is or not. I’m sure a lot of folks liked it, and one could argue it sends an effective message to potential protesters. But, to me, if you want to be a professional, you have to act like it. Ultimately it is the internal trickle down effects that get concerning. Ymmv, my cloud rant for the day.
Lethal force is the way government rules. Your thinking is pollyannish. Don’t pay your taxes? You are forcibly taken to jail. Attack another citizen? You are subdued and taken to jail. Try to hurt or murder someone? Government responds by stopping you, including ending your life. Youre simply offended by this guy’s candor. In reality, he’s doing everyone a favor. Fool Around and Find Out. Peaceful folks know there will be protection. Rioters may head in a different direction or change their tactics. Win. Win. Win.
We already know at least 75 million Americans hate Trump. Wonder what percentage of that shows up at today’s riots ?
I found our disconnect. I think government rules based on the citizens that give it power. You think it rules based on intimidation. Like I said, that's what these protests are about.
He is right you know. Government rules by the sword to punish evildoers. What we are seeing now is some people want a toothless government that allows crime, anarchy, and political mobs to go unpunished.
