I can't assume fsu will just let us resume at home next year (they're stupid so who knows), this is going to really throw a wrench in the schedule with those future OOC games for both schools

What would happen if we just said to the hell with the SEC we're playing it anyhow? Is there any recourse?

I fail to comprehend the logic. It is as if each league has the mentality that members of OUR league will not get the virus but every other league/team will.

So we can get on a plane to Columbia Missouri but not a bus to Tallahassee FL?

Good god Im already catching it from friends from SHitSU...its like theyre upset and complaining about not getting a 50 point ass beating at home. I cant figure those idiots out...they were going to get obliterated and we did them a favor of not embarrassing them at home.

There is an awful lot of money the SEC could withhold.

Sucks because they still suck. I'd rather play the SEC games and crown a champion without an SEC championship game, and then play fsu. I know, $ talks and fsu walks.

This makes absolutely no logical sense. Why would they not follow the ACCs lead and do +1? The only thing I can think of is other than UGA, SC and UF, there aren't other in-state games worth playing.

According to that Sun article, Florida will not play its first game until September 26 when the Gators take on Tennessee in Knoxville.

Now, why could not Florida simply play FSU sometime earlier in September before the 10-game SEC season begins?

This is sad and stupid. Also makes the SEC look bad, since they made it seem early on that if these games didn't happen it would be the ACC's fault. Seems the delay strategy was a ruse so they could blame the ACC, but it didn't work.

Assuming the 1 OOC game was to be an in-state school it boils down to one thing, money. That's it.

All of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Kentucky have an in-state P5 OOC school they can play. Aside from A&M, none of the other SEC schools have that luxury. You think Alabama and LSU would be willing to give Florida and Georgia a week to themselves to get prime TV slots (and more money) to play their ACC rivals while they get stuck with 12PM kickoffs against UAB and Tulane?

Totally STUPID, cancel an in state rivalry to make teams travel further away!

What jackass came up with this idea to decrease travel risks....

Yep, Alabama runs the conference and +1 doesn't benefit them, so it's out.
