Then you go to Oregon and up the ante and offer Lanning $11 mill. Yea that’s unrealistic but it shows you’re trying to go big game hunting. At the very least, reset the coaching market. If/when that fails go after Kiffin and if/when that fails….gawd help us

I refrained from saying it but yes, Florida has many basements even if not as common as up north. Even beachside communities have them. Have been in several house fires that have basements.

 

For the same reason I loved Shula and Dubose at Bama or Willie Taggert at FSU, just lose baby.

 

He already lost me as a coach but now I just don't like him.

 

He’s technically not wrong. A few places in and around Clermont have houses with basements. That is in both rural and Central Florida.

But they are so few.

He tried to use a cliche and adapt it to UF’s situation. Failed misserably.

 

He was trying to characterize anyone criticizing the piss-poor job he's doing as being basement dwellers. Guess what, Billy? Everyone is criticizing you. I guess there are a whole lot of basement dwellers around here.
