Impressive running by CJ Anderson for the Rams. The guy was an undrafted free agent out of California and was selected to the pro Bowl when he was with the broncos..

Uniform post: I prefer the white and blue for the Rams maybe because it's more traditional. I never did like the yellow and blue.

Let's all rejoice in the loss of the Dallas Cowboys. After all, they are one of the most unlikable teams in the NFL, by far.

The blue and yellow go back to 1938, their second year of existence in the AAFC. But I know what you're saying. When I see the white horns on the helmets, I think of the Fearsome Foursome.

GatorHighlites: ditto your sentiments re: the Cowboys. So how could the crowd at the L.A. Coliseum be 50% for the Cowboys as reported by the announcers?

As a life long Cowboys fan (since I was 10.....I’m 56 :D; do the math), I wasn’t all that confident with this matchup. Elliot is too predictable as is Prescott. Can’t keep riding those 2. I think Jason Garrett has gone as far as he can. Would like to see new blood for coaching. On the flip side of that, Jones is tough to work for....not a fan of owner. Didn’t like the way he showed Tom Landry the door. Jmo

Los Angeles has such a strange relationship with pro football. The Rams left Cleveland to the upstart Browns of the AAFC and moved to L.A. in 1946. The Chargers started life in the AFL in Los Angeles, then moved to San Diego because of attendance problems. In 1980, The Rams moved out to Anaheim because their spotty attendance was creating too many TV blackouts. Then Al Davis moved the Raiders there in spite of the city's already lukewarm relationship with one team. The USFL's L.A. Express only lasted the first two years of that three year experiment. For two years, L.A. had 3 professional teams. 12 years later, they had none. The Rams skipped town altogether the same year the Raiders did after their 13 year stopover. Los Angeles had no NFL teams for 21 years, and everybody seemed to be fine with it. Too many other things to do there. Now the Rams and the Chargers are back and we could have an all-L.A. Super Bowl. I expect the Chargers will return to San Diego someday, but if there's only one team that belongs in L.A., it's the Rams. Kind of.

They train in the area before each season. I was out there a few years ago and watched a scrimmage between them and the Raiders. Easily 50 50 as I recall.
