If Im reading this correctly it is illegal to have a bikini contest, twerking event, or even dance events where anyone under 16 is present. Is that really a law?

The DeSantis administration is revoking the Hyatt Regency Miami's alcohol license after one of its facilities hosted "A Drag Queen Christmas" with minors present in the audience.
The Department of Business and Professional Regulation filed a 17-page complaint Tuesday against the show's venue, the James L. Knight Center, which is affiliated with Hyatt. The show required people under 18 to be accompanied by an adult as a condition of being allowed to attend.
"A Drag Queen Christmas" is a holiday-themed drag show that tours in 36 different cities and features stars from the reality show "RuPaul's Drag Race."
The state's business department accused the facility of several violations, including a prohibition of "lascivious exhibition" before people younger than 16, though it's not clear to what extent this law is generally enforced.

 

Go full on Victorian era and cover the legs of furniture too. Wouldn't want little johnny to get any ideas.

 

Guess you will have to go back to Maldives so your kids can enjoy looking at Drag Queens in Bikinis again.

 

Pretty clear the DeSantis is a one trick pony. Culture wars and nothing else, all he does is run around looking for how white suburban families might have been offended or made angry.
Not sure that will hold up even in the Republican primary with their base.

DeSantis is going to get slapped down in the GE with making culture war issues that negatively affect next to no one, the centerpiece of his platform.

Let's face it, fascism is now a political preference in a significant segment of the American population. Its appeal is nothing new, there was the fascist plot to overthrow Roosevelt in the 1930s. It takes people like Trump and DeSantis to bring this political disease out in the open to spread it around.
