Yep. Nobody saw Braun signing with us. But the chicken littles like to panic.
Ugh. We should have kept Seider in that position.
Twitter rumblings that we finally got a rb commit. Havent confirmed yet
i can't get on Twitter from my work desk or i'd go to my favorite followers and see what they say. I think we all feel that Parrish is going to be the one though. We'll see, i hope it's legit and we do have him in the fold
Rumblings seem to be about a “legacy” recruit?
Inquiring minds want to know... who?????
Where are you seeing this I follow some gator recruiting pages and none mention a rb commit.
If it is a legacy recruit then wouldn’t be about EJ Smith??? He is a RB/WR
Im seeing rumblings on EJ
The rumblings are about EJ Smith. Maybe, he likes the roadgrader OL UF is getting.
Well, he did have an in home visit last evening. Stanford was thought to be his leader but Shaw is rumored to the nfl. (I'm guessing Carolina). And 10 Stanford players are in the portal. Just saying.
Would be great to snag him.
Rumors flying around now on EJ Smith and UF. What’s the truth?
Well as of recently Stanford has lost their whole oline to the portal basically and their head coach is rumored to possibly taking a job in the NFL.
Any Stanford OL we might want? EJ sounds good.
What! Rumblings about EJ Smith possibilities?
Somebody hand me my nitroglycerin. STAT.
Remember the Gators' outstanding offensive line of the mid-1980s known as the "Great Wall of Florida,"
Let’s build another Great Wall.
CDM will make it happen.
I was the doorman at Rickey’s when the Great Wall would come in each night. Good times!
Any good stories you can share?
The football team used to leave for bedcheck and then would be back an hour later to close down the place. “Happy Trails to you” would play each night at closing.
They would try to bring in recruits through the back door.
One time a few football players started to do damage to the corner pinball machines and game area. I got Bob, owner, to handle with players, as no way I was breaking that up.
Rickey’s was the number one bar in Gville when on Golf course and later when moved to 13th street. Bob just moved up there and opened while his daughter was in school. When his daughter graduated, he closed down without notice one night never to return. He moved back to South Florida and still has a few Rickeys in the Hollywood area I think
Drinking age changed from 18 to 21, which may have been a reason for closure as well, but was always packed each night I was there
