He’s pretty damn electric. Accelerates right through some really good cuts.

Is this saying that our coaches told Marks not to come, or just that Marks doesn’t want to come?

It is saying that Knox is an awful recruiter and has difficulty establishing relationships with RBs. If you watch practices, Knox is a screamer. Not someone a RB would want as a position coach, if they watched other team’s practices, especially when he has not produced NFL caliber RBs like UGA or FSU Not a Knox fan. He is one of the weak links on the coaching staff. He waits to kids are committed to other programs and then tries to get them to switch to UF, which is an absurd way to recruit. He has no RB commits for 2020 or 2021, and recruited an injured player last year.

Plain and simple Knox sucks. Awful recruiter and will only hurt this program Dan is trying to rebuild.

What the hell? Why is Dan not correcting this? I know he is his bud but this is a problem that should not be happening. Perplexed by this.

    Candy,

unless something changes in a major way, Marks is sticking with MSU.
I might add that typically this might signal something positive. Well.....it doesn’t mean Bowman has flipped. The only other positive thing would center around Gibbs and as of right now there is nothing to indicate Gibbs is flipping. Hoping I’m wayyyyyy wrong. Parrish and Drennen appear to be possibilities. Candy may know more w regards to a silent ( like I said I hope I am Way way wrong).

He said he may not visit UF now and that he is 100% signing with Miss St regardless.

I had all but forgotten Drennen was still on the list. But I'm pretty sure there is not a silent commit. You would think however that the odds are in UF's favor to land one of these guys.

I still don't understand why he was hired in the first place. We had a great RB coach who was also a great recruiter.

I think he was hired for his special teams coaching ability, so we could have no blocked punts, we could run fake punts against Auburn and FSU deep in our own territory and fail to convert, and of course to have Swain fair catch every punt this year.

Good question. Pre existing ties to Mullen?

I mean wouldn’t you think Mullen would think the same everyone else is thinking about Knox. He can’t be that blind can he? I mean I love Mullen but questionable having Knox on staff

I think the lack of RB interest has less to do with some assistant coach and more to do with our OL and lack of anything resembling holes to run thru.
