New polls show bad news for Democrats and they can only blame themselves.

One possible explanation for the difference between the more positive response regarding party affiliation and the negative response regarding favorability is that a significant percentage of Democrat leaning voters are disappointed in what they consider the apparently weak response of the party's leadership to Trump's policies.

It should also be noted that Democrats have been outperforming the expected results in the polls that matter i.e special elections.

Democratic performance is improving in a slew of special elections, as a weary party looks for signs of hope

 

How about the part that FIRES federal employees because they put out a report that the president does not agree with, simply because the president has gone around announcing that his first six months of his current term is the best in the history of the U.S., and the report is clear evidence that this is not true. He accuses the report writer of lying on the report without evidence, and fires her. Sounds like textbook fascism to me.


Re: immigrants.

What if getting rid of the Mexican immigrants is devastating for the U.S. economy? What if no Americans step up and offer to install roofs, pick fruits and vegetables, and work in meat packing factories for minimal wages? Are you going to volunteer for one or more of those jobs? Do you not understand that compared to the end of democracy and the concomitant endorsement of fascism, this means next to nothing? Keep worrying about transsexuals.
