New Look this Season at Florida Field

Not a fan. But then again I’m an old guy now.

 

Hate to admit, but this is where my mind went immediately when I read white end zones.

 

Lighten up, Francis. The tweet says Blue Letters. What's in the photo isn't the finished design.

 

My guess,it has nothing to do with "exterior decorating". For the health of the expensive grass/turf like photosynthesis and heat absorption ..the lighter the color used the better the results will be or less damage to the plant especially when large sq footage areas are in question. That field gets hot enough without pouring on more heat.

 

Hope we can make a tackle.

I’m going to wait until the game to make a decision.

After scoring 8 or 9 times I’ll conclude if I like it- but the cool thing about our school is that we are known for trying different things.

Wing I love your vigor but I don't get your gripe about gator fans sometimes. Fans have opinions. I'm not crazy about the white endzones either but I'm ok with them as long as we are in them a lot on gamedays.

It's obviously a throwback to 60s when we had white with blue letters.

 

Except for the ridiculous “speed F” font

 

Some of y’all literally have nothing to do but complain about 3 colors and how they are arranged.

 

There is a difference between critique and criticize.

 

I like the new end zone look. Spurrier said "it's a night to wear white." So it's all themed. I dig it

 

We can't always complain about new design ideas this new generation comes up with and at the same time complain that we are not attracting kids to Florida. This is what this generation likes, different, flashy, shot that stands out among the rest. It's the reason Oregon even became popular, because they threw tradition away and brought in the new wave of fashion. Laser and lights shows at the stadiums, new edgy/flashy uniform designs , fancy new facilities etc all matter to these kids. I mean you could say this is a generation of materialistic kids but it's what sells to them. We either embrace it or keep fighting against it with our tradition and keep wondering why teams like Oregon get so popular.

 

Or complain about people complaining....
