What?! Disco is awesome.
Please let her be there, no picture, and I got next
I wore Bell Bottoms, 3 inch heels on shoes, long hair thought I was Sharpe, look back at pictures and cant believe I wore that stuff. 74 went in service , heels and bell Bottoms with a bald head was worse.
My God!! I remember tryingto decide whether to wear my "Earth Shoes", or my "Elevator Shoes".....
Two of the absolute dumbest things ever invented!
<see who remembers that one>
Tight rolled stone washed pants , z cavarricci’s and braided belts stock just went up
I wore Dolfin shorts (proper spelling) in 1980, you DO NOT want to see a “return” on me LOL
Back in the early early 70's, I was little bit more laid back.
Long hair to my shoulders... full beard...(literally looked like Jim Morrison, who I emulated and loved as a musician.)
But I wore blue jean overalls with no shirt and no shoes.
And sometimes, no underwear!
(Kept my harmonicas in my front chest pouch in my overalls.)
One never knew when you had to whip those puppies out!
Boy, I wish I can wear my elevator shoes again without trying to look taller than I am. People will spot me from a mile away if I wear them things again.
I still think the new locker rooms look great.
Thanks, you sure couldn't tell from that pic. But, still, Gator colors aren't exactly Orange and Tan.
True..neither is white. Sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. I saw a picture of Kentucky’s football building..just several inside shots..
Everything was a blue light. Creepy. Jmhfo.
LSU just introduced their new locker rooms. Every player locker has a sleeping pod for players to relax. Differentiation during the recruiting process. Makes it difficult for Gators to compete until we have a stand alone football facility, as these programs like Bama, LSU, Clemson, Texas A and M, ... are so superior at this time.
Sleeping pods?? Hopefully they’re all curled up in the fetal position inside their pods late in the evening on Oct 12th..
LOOK: LSU's new locker room includes dedicated sleeping pods for players
Why would anyone want to sleep in a locker room?
Love the tweets going out from LSU students showing pictures of their library with damaged walls and floors while the football students get sleeping pods. Academics a priority??? Clearly not at LSU
Just like it makes long term financial sense to have a nice but not the nicest house in your neighborhood, I'm perfectly fine with having very good but not the best facilities in this crazy arms race. It will come to an end, sooner or later, and some of these schools will have borrowed themselves into trouble so deep that the diminishing returns on future broadcast contracts will be unable to dig them out.
I think Foley was right to not jump into the deepest end of the spending craze, but he did the program a disservice and lost some excellent interest opportunities by not at least keeping pace on a more modest level within a quickly changing industry. We don't need to lead the pack on creative ways to spend outrageous amounts of money, but his last several years have the hallmarks of deferred maintenance during a financial downturn when we had plenty of money and/or will to invest heavily in the infrastructure of basically every non-revenue sport. And it's always more expensive--in more ways than one--to catch up from deferred maintenance than it is to regularly maintain.
Their university system is under massive financial stress. Rank and file students should definitely find the new digs for football a bit hard to swallow.
Southern football factories FTW. Gotta get that SECWest runner-up trophy.
