I’m gonna guess closer to end of season.

 

Recruiting hotbed we don't dominate. Facilities no better than many others. One great stadium of dozens. A tradition that has us as an average P4 program the last 15 years. A huge salary with an even larger buyout the donors may be unwilling to invest. This isn't the 90s, and no new coach will inherit what Meyer inherited. Not sure the administration figured out the Portal or NIL. If I was a donor, I'd be hesitant to break my bank on the chance the next coach may be The One, considering the fates of the last four...

I’m not really sure there are any. Drink would probably like the opportunity but I wouldn’t call him a great coach.

Golesh would probably take it but he isn’t at a great program now.

I don’t think lane would take the job

 

UF want to win titles and be Notre Dame or Michigan (without the cheating), not Stanford. Big difference.

 

I don't see this as a problem. Most of the guys that are "top tier" now weren't that when they were hired.

How many years did it take ND and UM to build their reputation? They are bluebloods; we're not, even at our peak.

True. He’s 20th in the nation. With a losing record! He is 1.5 mil from a top 10 salary. But yes, it’s a little lower than I thought

I’m not even sure what you are trying to say. If we don’t dominate our hotbed that’s a plus for our incoming coach. Facilities as good as anyone. Now you are trashing the Swamp? Ha. Tradition isn’t just the last 15 years, just look at bama before saban. Meyer inherited what zook left him. Napier has built a solid program. UF is ready to win. We just have one of the worst offensive minds running our offense. The problem imo is you are dismissing the things that don’t need to be fine. We need an OC and a ST coordinator. We’d be a great team with that.
