I think the best, most realistic option is Kiffin. Here are the W-L records of teams in SEC games since 2020, Kiffin's first year at Ole Miss:

    Georgia: 38-4
    Alabama: 36-6
    Ole Miss: 27-16
    LSU: 26-17
    Texas A&M: 23-18
    Tenn: 23-20
    Mizzou: 23-20

  2. Kiffin, Fisch, Schottenheimer is now my wish list for next Gators coach. Has to be an intelligent guy with passing offense. Gators ties are added bonus because who doesn't love someone from the family.

Maybe we need to prove we can calculate further proving our addition skills. I dont see anything positive about keeping him another second except the dent in someones bank account. Pinching pennies probably isnt the best way foreard but onlt the person who has the bank account decides where and when he spends it. We look weak keeping him on but maybe we are.

And I wouldn't say that Kiffin got there because they had more money or more prestige than the schools that he is ahead of.

Why do people keep saying we save money by keeping him? Pretty sure we don't.

They were still head coaches, career ruin to me is ending up an analyst buried in some back room.

I answered the question, I'm not advocating for him or think it's even a realistic possibility.

I think we also think keeping Napier will keep the players around. We want to be able to fire him and quickly have a replacement named so they can immediately start working on damage control.

Everyday I wake up here on the west coast I check sports news to see if Napier has been canned and if there are any candidates.

    Just saying...

Our AD might need to keep his yapper closed and let things move along with the people that are making financial decisions and forking up large amounts of cash.

Zook, I mean Napier, is over his head-horrible play caller. Mullen, decent offensive guy. Lacked motivation. Yellow teeth, was a decent coach, but was a bit strange. Maybe the opposition we faced was easier then. Muschamp was a fiery guy which I liked, brilliant defensive mind, and really weird on offense. Get up by three and don't 'risk' getting more points.

We need a defensive minded guy that will hire the best OC in football. Oh yeah, they gotta recruit well.

How Strickland has let Napier and UF wallow in mediocrity again is beyond comprehension. This isn't astrophysics for God sake. But Florida football is flummoxed with a singularity of sorts. We're spiraling very close to the event horizon, and spaghettification has begun.o_O:rolleyes::confused:

    &**&@!$#@(!!

    Go Gators.

lashlee-kifffin-cignetti would be 1a imo. I like that Kiffin and to a smaller degree Cignetti have shown they can win with multiple QBs. I can only think of lashlee having 1 QB - and he’s very sporadic I think.

The QBs for me is what sells me on Kiffin. He ALWAYS has a QB that can play.

Kiffin and Cignetti are my only choices right now. But if we do get Kiffin, does Golding come with?

My only thought with Cignetti is his age. He is 64 years old, and will be 65 at the start of next season. I think Indiana is his last ride. Why leave at 65 to re-establish another P4 program when he has Indiana moving in the right direction. MAYBE if the right job calls him this offseason he goes, but I dont see it. He has a whopping 134-37 record as a head coach, but most of it at much lower levels of football. Appears to be a damn winner no matter what.

I will take Kiffin and Golding right now though.

honestly, at this point -- give him the keys to turn this ship around - if he only wanted to coach 4-5 years who cares, let him -- fix everything and change the narrative.

The guy wants to win a title, would take a miracle to do it at Indiana.
