We’ve been everywhere and done everything, haven’t we? There isn’t a right style to hiring, maybe that’s our problem. We hire backwards.

 

8 is very under valued and should be explored more, imho. 6 will likely rise and could get a good look.

 

If we have to make a yolo pick Will Stein seems as good as any.

All I can say is that Saban said no. Much to my dismay.

 

Every coach we've fired has gone on to get another head job, doesn't sound like career ruin to me.

I’m not pushing for him. I merely saw his name on the list at #3 and reported that I threw his name out there merely for consideration once in the past and was laughed at. That’s all. No need for a “Come on man.”

 

I will retract my C’mon man. You seem like a great guy, but I don’t think that Marcus Freeman is a great coach.
